The guided tour will take you to discover the history and masterpieces of Palazzo Boncompagni built in the mid-16th century to house a pope.
Right in the historic center of Bologna, just a few hundred meters from Piazza Maggiore and the Two Towers, Palazzo Boncompagni is one of the finest examples of the Bolognese Renaissance.
You will be able to discover the spiral staircase leading to the main floor of the palace attributed to Jacopo Barrozzi known as the Vignola, inspired by the noble models of Bramante in the Vatican and that of the Farnese Palace in Caprarola by the same Vignola and in every way similar to that of Palazzo Barozzi.
